Cazares body wood.
Well....you COULD e-mail Rich and ask. *That would probably be the easiest thing to do. *
My guess is it's most likely mahogany, but...I don't recall if that info was in the EBay auctions or not. *Rich will know though. *

I won't have a clue till I rip it down, probably sometime over the weekend. But this is the wrong Forum, all Cazares are 7 strings aren't they?

Cazares body wood.
Rich, the weight should give it away! as I understand, there's a HUGE difference in weight between mahogany and basswood

Cazares body wood.
Dino told me that is what it is made out of and it is heavier than a Les Paul!!!! Purple heart is a purple colored wood that is extremely strong and it has a very bright sound (One of the reasons it is only used to strengthen guitar necks and it isn't used as a main wood like basswood, mahogany, ash, alder, etc)

Ron,
the PII babe is something unbelievable! the frets are smooth and flat, and the F1/F3 pick-ups are... oh god, give me the words!
i got IBZ/USA series in my Maxxas and in my Radius too, but those Fs... oh... i really don't know how to explain it!
pretty
FAT
&
THICK
! and that's all i want from a guitar!
plus... she's always been the woman of my dreams for 14 years now... i pass hours watching her, that lil body, that yellow, that wide nut, that single pot, that killer horn... *sniff*
thanx again Ron, you made me happy!
nuno
(hey, take a look at those Dino' strings... they're getting old, used and crappy, c'mon, restring the monster!)
