Custom 7?

Ok heres the deal, I've been guitarless for a while now, been playing some of my friends guitars and I gotta admit I miss it, so for the time being I applied at about 100 different places for a job, and with that money I wanna make a 7 custom, cause I played my friends 7620 and it was awesome, but there we're some things I'd wanna change about it, as well as alot of other Ibanez Guitars, it was great having a Jem but I need a custom.

So now I'm here to lay down idea's and get some input on what you think my ideal custom sounds like and if I should add or take away anything or whatever lol, by the way guy's I do plan to go through it cause.

A. as spoiled as it sounds, I get what I want, Jem, D-SLR Camera, along with other things.

B. I miss guitars

C. Money isn't really an issue with the jobs lined up (yes people have called back lol) and I don't gotta worry about school for a while since I'm not in school right now, and I can just put it towards the custom

ok here we go

I want, A 7 String RGA
Mohagany body
maple quilt top.
dragon burst (ala rob balducci)
17MM 1st fret 19MM 12th fret super thin Maple fret board (possibly birdseye)
scalloped last 4 frets lol
Edge Lo Pro
Reverse matching headstock
Offset abalone inlay.

Have no decided on pups and other minor details

rgk7, sounds cool I'm not sure about the whole Idea of 707's, but one thing I don't like are pickup rings, ewww I want direct mount

it's all good dude, 2k is worth paying if it means a custom.

Main issue with me is neck's cause I have rather small hands, now I love Jem neck's cause I've had 2 Jem's and a UV, but the Jem neck I really loved was my DBK neck it was 17-19mm and ibanez doesn't really offer that anymore, and they don't offer it on a 7.

chris woods is pretty backed up from when I last talked to him. I think my neckthru 7 is one of the last hes doing thats not his "own designs".. and hes outsourcing the neck for mine too so it even makes it less of his work.. so I dunno.

try tho. I guess.

no idea. best bet is to get a Carvin neckthru blank, or a neckthru blank from someone and build it yourself. Im basically limited to that option for my 2nd idea =/

well you could always go with another company like KxK / Jackson / BC rich / Schecter / ESP... but they probably wouldnt build you anything that is similar to Ibanez, and no use of a LoPro

yeah, that's exactly my thoughts, but I was thinking I got just a bit before I can lay down the $$$ for the thing, I'll try Chris wood's then, hopefully he's not too busy.
