Do you think this has ANY potential?

I don't mind re-purchasing higher quality parts, and I know someone who will do a cheap re-fret too.

his feedbacks are not bad, though many are from the same preson.

I'd stay away from the 'Bay but that is one beautiful axe.

I really liked the dragon inlay one they had on there. I would'nt buy one though. Someone over at www.sevenstring.org bought one (planet inlays).

Re: Do you think this has ANY potential?

it looks cool but something about it just doesn't seem right, I think its the body shape, it looks like it should be a bass, not guitar. I dunno, but for $200 it might be worth it to find out..

Re: Do you think this has ANY potential?

If it's one of those Chibanez UV's then i reckon you'd be best to avoid it like the plague. The one that guy bought over on ss.org was just all wrong in every way (morally as much as quality and shape/construction wise).
Looked like a total piece of crap to me!

There's nothing wrong with e bay in general, most of us here have had some of our nicest guitars from there, but just be careful what you're buying and beware of anything from China that's obviously not genuine.

You'd be better off buying a used real 7321 than a fake UV.
At least that way you'll end up with a decent guitar that people won't laugh at.

Re: Do you think this has ANY potential?

no, its not a chibanez UV:

I'm not to crazy on the body shape at all, especially the 4 knobs and the phallus looking top horn..

Re: Do you think this has ANY potential?

It's pretty sad when these obscuro guitar factories in asia are making neck-thru 7 strings with ornate inlay work and the big, supposedly more legitimate, guitar makers would never take a chance with offering those specs. Then again, when one of the horns does look kind of like a wang, it's a hard sell.
