EMG/dimarzio cross?

Right now i have a Dimarzio PAF-7 in the neck position of my rg7420.i have a website that sells EMG 81-7 pickups.i was wondering, would it sound that great with a 81-7 in the bridge position,or should i take the paf-7 out,and replace both with the 81-7's?if you could help me out, then that would be great.thanks-david

You can do it, but you'd need a jack that works with the EMG, and a separate volume and tone knob for each pickup.
