Re: Everything you know about 7 strings is...

I like it. The Z2 shape is great, I love the headstock, and I am sure the Zach 7 is actually a great sounding and playing instrument. I am unaffected by Alex's attitude, and until I have a good enough reason to think otherwise, I will keep on believing he is actually a good guy with some interesting and valid points to make about the guitar industry.

The comparison to the Kubicki Factor bass is an interesting one. I hadn't noticed but it's now very obvious where the inspiration for the Z2 shape came from. I still like the Z2. The fact that it's probably copied doesn't make it less appealing. If I had the money I'd give Zachary a chance, but meanwhile I'll just admire Alex's work from afar. Nice guitar, no doubt about it.

I wouldn't mind having a fretless guitar around the house for a while. I would rather yank the frets out of a beater than pay top dollar for a custom, but it still seems like it might be fun to goof around on.

Honestly, I think any similarity between the Z2 and that Kubicki bass is just coincidence... If you see them in other pictures they are nothing alike. Different concepts really. He's a good guy, he just tells things how he see's it and has a good sense of humor about it.

Have you ever awakened naked, on a reservation, next to an overweight underage Navajo girl with her entire family staring down at you and wondering why your sphincter hurts so bad?

Stay away from the Peyote!!!
