I don't understand why luthiers who can build fine playing instruments, decide to make them do damn unattractive.

I did not read the whole thread, so I am not sure what you are talking about. I assume you had one of these guitars made for you, and a custom "one off" is different than "stock" pieces. I don't know anything about Zachary guitars other than they are quite ugly to look at. (in my humble opinion)

If you are happy, then that is all that matters.

Actually, all of Alex's guitars are "one off", but unfortunately, not all people agree w/ the deffinition of "one off" or what, or whom, it may pertain too!!!
