Finally... K-7 pics

I just went digging through Harmony Central's NAMM pics and found some Ibanez ones including one of the K-7.
http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAM...=128&y=113
Unfortunately the K-7 inlay looks much more prominent and ugly than I had anticipated.

I dig the matching headstocks... every mid to high-end Ibanez should have them.

Colors seem OK perhaps, its hard to tell exactly in those pics.

Again, I'm not fond of the inlay, I was hoping for something very understated.

No tone knob is something of a negative.

I had my fingers crossed for binding around the entire guitar and a blue flame finish.

I'm holding back any real judgments until I get more info and see some better images.

I agree, K-7 is a little large but at least its not dots. I also wish it had a tone pot. But it's still awsome now I have to get the money and the hardest part of all pic a color.

WOO HOO!!

Maybe my nasty-gram to HC worked...

1. *I love the matching headstock.
2. *I LOVE NO TONE KNOB (yes I'm YELLING)
3. *The inlay is more than I anticipated... hopefully if I see a picture which is IN FOCUS I'll get a better idea of it...

I'm thinkin' it might be time to sign me up for one o'these.

Well i'm kind of disappointed, may as well buy an RG 7620 and save some cash, i mean it looks cool but i was hoping for binding also, it didn't really do much for me.
Oh well

Thanks a ton for putting all that up Rich, too bad none of it looks to be good news to me.

The inlay looks even worse on the K-7 when you can really see it.

Retiring the 2027? WTF? I was awaiting news of a new color for it (something a little less like my RG7CT).

The RG1077XLRB looks pretty cool, but not quite as nice as I remember the RG7680-LTD1 (although very similar) in that particular scan. I might change my mind if it has a matching headstock (I can't tell from the pic).

Oh well. When's Summer NAMM?

In the Summer The Prestige XL looks great, better go for it, the 7620 is also dead!

I take back what I said about the inlay. Now that I have seen a better pic. It says Korn without really saying Korn on it. The U-bar is removable and I'm guessing it comes with a normal trem I can use for my RG550. Kill two birds with one stone. *

Considering the size, I think the inlay is stylin Not MY taste, I prefer straight dots, but Vines are pretty cool too!

Man im totally disapointed.
that grey one looks like a messed up version of the 7620. With a goofy trem and even worse inlays.
I guess its cool that the k-7 inlay crosses frets but come on.

No binding stinks

man i better buy another 2027

crap

Look closer there is neck binding and look at the picture of head holding the guitar thats what I'm guessing it will look like in person.

The matching headstock (available for extra price ?) is nice.

Basically I like the features, except for the U-bar, but don't dig the look.

tagg, I'm with you on on the 2027.
