Finally some pics of my lefty 7 string custom

As you may have noticed, the 1st body is up for sale, but here's the finished article. Mahogany bod, maple neck, ebony board, EMG707's, Lo Pro Lefty 7 - had a right handed one modded. Pearl binding all the way round. The neck supposed to be a 'Jem 7' kinda thing - similar proportions, but obviously for 7 strings rather than 6. Only problem still is the fact I've got 1 locking nut (RH) and one normal nut (LH) on it as I'm still trying to get hold of a lefty locking nut - Ibanez don't make one, so I'm having to look at getting someone to make me one....when I can get one I'll have the nuts replaced and everything will be funky.

anyway here she is...

Feline make some nice axes actually, it looks like they made you a pretty cool neck there too! Very nice axe all-round though, just my kind of guitar. Black and more black with EMG's. Lovely!

I expect because its illegle to cut the ibanez headstock shape on a guitar made for sale - Ibanez can sue you.

Well I wanted a volume control knob for each pup, so I can do the ol' toggle thing, where one is all the way up and one is all the way off - then wiggle That and the tone control - it's just 1 more than you Jemsters are used to lol.

Nice dude!!! Congratz! As for the thing with the locking nut! I know that Jeremy (LGM) got a hold of a lefty 7-string locking nut from Ibanez for my lefty. Have you tried allparts.com or universaljems.com. They have 7-string lefty trems with locking nuts.

Regards

André

Re: Finally some pics of my lefty 7 string custom

Jeremey has none, neither do Universal Jems, neither does IbanezRules.....lol...I have a lead over here but nothing 100% confirmed. Haven't tried Allparts but I guess I'll give it a go.

I like it. Though I'm not a huge fan of the bridge pickup placement and knob placement.
