Hi all,
Took me a while to get some pics of this one, but here it is (sorry it's a bit dusty - should have cleaned it first!).
Hollow Jaguar-ish body (spruce front, rosewood back, mahogany sides and central core), 22-
fret maple neck with
rosewood board, body and head stained black with two very thin coats of matt cellulose to seal the stain, Tunomatic style bridge with thru-body stringing and locking tuners, Jem-style jack socket, Seymour Duncan SH-5 bridge pickup, '59 neck humbucker, and Kent Armstrong neck single coil. The two humbuckers go to the 5-way switch, which has some coil-tapping options, then the output of that switch goes to a 3-way with the neck single-coil going to the other side of it. So basically I can add the neck single to any of the humbucker options, or have the single on it's own = loads of very different sounds. It actually sounds very different from everything else I own - understandable with all that air moving around inside I guess - it has a real thinline sparkle over the top, but is also very bassy. I just now have to decide whether I can use it with my (loud) rock band or whether it'll feedback too much! Sounds awesome for blues though.
