Those 7420 series pickup kick ass, I would take those over the new 7 pickups any day.

Yeah, but the TRS sucks. I hated it when I owned one.
I wish they'd make a S-series 7 with an Edge

I totally agree.
I also wish they'd make one with a strings-thru the body hardtail.
Not enough hardtails in this world.

An S 7-string with a hardtail would be nice. But I think the curved top would make a standard hard tail impossible. So they would have to use a stop tailpiece or a tune-o-matic 7-
string bridge
. I've seen a 7-string tune-o-matic on a Esp Ltd.

I would love a hardtail saber, and to make it even better they sould use the ax7 neck. That would be the perfect axe. I know, I'm weird.

They could use a 7 string version of the short stop 2 bridge, like on my SC420

I have a S7420FM with a real Lo Pro. Of course I had to swap out the TRS to get it there. Of course it would be really nice if they would come this way stock!

ach, a 7 string version of my s540ltd would go down well. Shark teeth(well, not a necessity, but preferable to dots or those wavy things) + lopro and a h/s/h configuration. mmmmmmm.....yum. Sexy 7 string!

I hated the neck on my AX7(521). It was wayyy to bulky for a 7-string. It got to the point where there were some songs I just COULDNT play because it would start to hurt my hand to bad. Once that happens you know you have to move on. Of course I dont have that problem with 6-strings necks, any of them. But I can handle my RG7s wizard neck fine...So Im not bashing all 7 strings or anything..Just the AX7s neck...

I use to own an rg7620 and that neck would hurt my hand because it was just too thin. Too me the ax7 neck is heaven.
