Re: got my RG7321!!!!

Congratz have fun with it . The buzzing on the B-string shouldn't because I have a 7 string and no buzzing what so ever on the B-string

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

Congratulations on getting a 7! You'll love it. Like me it's been 8 years since I've been playing 7's. I'll never go back to 6.
Play that low B!

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

every 7 I've ever played/had has required a string change atleast for the low B, they always come with a stupidly thin gauge of string for the B I've found

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

it did come with a pack of 10's. Im not too worried. I might change it in the future... but for now Im happy with it. could I just put a heavier B on it with out the othersa or would that be bad for it?

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

That would look nice. It would complement the black.
My 7620 (before I painted it arctic white) was black and I put a mirror pickguard
on it temporarily (without screwing into the body)
It looked great but then I took it off and of course did this-

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

How does it play/sound etc? I'm thinkin of buying one (don't think floyds are for me, I change tunings far too often, maybe when I can afford 3 guitars)

Cheers

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

Dude, you may need to do some adjusting on that you should have very little if any buzzing on the B. You may need to shim the nut a little, I would go through the set procedure provided here and on Rich's site. Congrats! I think my next guitat will be on of those!

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

Nice guitar for the money they are. I really like mine
I find the bridge pickup to be quite a bit too bassy for my rig though, but I am quite impressed with the tone of the neck pickup for lead playing all thing considering.

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

I have always been tempted by the 7321. I have only ever played a 7 string once, and I liked it. I just cant warrant buying a Universe because I dont know if I will like it long-term. Thats why the 7321 has always tempted me. Plus its got the fixed bridge that will allow extreme down-tunings. I have heard they are very good for the ££££ too. Nice guitar, I may pick one up.

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

Congrats on the new guitar! I picked up a new RG7321 a few months back also. It's a fine instrument for an even better price. It would make a great addition to any collection.

Re: got my RG7321!!!!

Its plays GREAT... I find the picksups get bassier as you go up the strings. cause i get a nice chunky sound on the Bass strings, and a nice solo ound on the treble strings.I think it just plain old looks nice too. My jems getting a little jealous tho, LOL.
