got pics of a mahogny body sanded down? rg 2027....


Would a rg 2027 look cool with a natural

body

....how many of these were made,
anyhow?

Dude, you do that, I'm going to fly out to Norway and hit you over the head with it. That Vintage Violin finish is one of the most gorgeous I've ever seen, and as I recall your grain shows it off quite nicely.

If you want a stripped/oiled mahogany RG7, either buy a K7 and go to town, or have Eddie build you a custom RG7 body- you'd be looking like $200, and you can do a tung finish yourself, saving quite a bit on the cost of finishing a guitar. That and a 7620 for parts and a neck and you're looking less than $500.

PLEASE don't sand that 2027. Pretty please.

...just looked over at my 2027,
and i'm sure i saw a tear roll down it
when i concidered sanding it down.

IT STAYS VINTAGE VIOLIN!

I agree. VV is gorgeous whether on maple or mahogany. Now as for that dark blue on a 2020...sand away!
