hi im aviad im from israel and im 27 years of age .

i got today my first 7 strings guitar rg 7420 ibanez and its superb ....

i want to get the 1527 but in a ****hole like isreal the only thing they had is that rg , but im ok with it ;-).

i got a q : i want to replace the pups to air norton 7 (neck)
and tone zone 7 (bridge) ...

i saw that they ask me on the order if i want f space or regular ....

what the hell is a f space and do i need it for my guitar or just to buy the regular spacing pups ??

thank you very much .

Hello and welcome!

You'll need an "F-spaced" ToneZone. The "F" designates that the pole-pieces are spaced for a Floyd Rose-type tremolo. Your neck pickup will be a standard or non-F-spaced model.

Enjoy!

I Had an Ibanez Rg7421 very similar to yours, and it was awesome..... the only bad thing were the pickups. And i never had the chance to change them but they make a real difference...i know because my Universe has Dimarzio blaze pickups and its my main guitar right now.
and by the time i had the Rg i never really used because it was really muddy.
Change pickups and youll see!

The RG7420 is a fine guitar, as long as you swap the pickups

I'm not terribly fond of the LoTRS7 tremolo (a sentiment shared by most here), but it's not horrible as long as it's set up properly.

With the new pickups, it should make a great guitar!

ya i thought about it

ya its agreat guitar .... i thought in the beginig to replace the tremolo system with the pups .....

but i heard that just alot of truble and cost alot (the parts and work)

so i will replace only the pups .

i got alot of other guiatr with proper floyd so im preaty ok with that section :-)

so rg7420 with two new pups it is !

thanks
