Has Ibanez ever....

made a neck-thru 7-string for the public market, for production? If so, send me some pictures! If not, then dammit... they should!!! I would LOVE that, I cant stress the word love enough! haha. In my head, it would be amazing if it was like the RGT3120, except a 7-string, so it would probably be called RGT3127? Anyways... so?

Re: Has Ibanez ever....

Yea I wonder why. They do plenty of neck-thru 6's, they should do 7's. And yea, the only neck-thru 7's I've seen were customs, such as for Dino Cazares and Munky.

Re: Has Ibanez ever....

To complement my JS-7 I'm finishing up...

I'm currently planning a RGT-7 QL RBB

RG-7 QL RBB XL

- RG-7 (27" scale, 24 frets)
- Limba wings, quilted maple top
- 5 piece laminated wenge/maple neck-through
- Royal Brown Burst finish.
- Cocobolo fretboard
- Trying to get my hands on Edge Lo Pro 7 trem
- TZ-7/AN-7 or SD JB-7/59-7 combo.

Neck blanks are currently being cut and plained.

What kind of trem is that on the guitar in the picture? It doesn't look like an Edge Pro.....and it kind of looks like the Edge III that's on my guitar.

If ever a crack occurs or whatever.

Re: Has Ibanez ever....

In NO position to go touring, so no worries there.

And with normal living room use...I don't see anything serious happening to guitar.

And how many people do you know whom actually changed necks because of problems in that area.....(not regarding the Steve Vai's of this world)
