Im was looking on E*** at a 1527 but Ive never purchased anything from there can someone tell how to not get ripped off.

If you're paying via PayPal, you're covered up to £500 in the UK. I'd imagine you're covered for about $1000 in the USA.

Check that the seller has good feedback.

You can't write e-Bay on here, the filter blocks it. You can always post an item number if you're wondering about a specific item or guitar, though. Or if you say "the Bay", everyone will know what you're talking about anyway.

EDIT: There's 2 1527's on there right now. Neither seller has good feedback. One, in fact, has zero sales / feedback. I'm not sure whether I'd trust that seller. I guess people have to start somewhere, though. The other seller has only 2 sales. It's all a bit risky.

i asked the seller for the serial number he returned it within a couple of hours and i also asked him for more pics and he emailed them to me he seems pretty legit. any comments

Ask if he's actually in China, if not it might just be legit!
