Help with choise

Hey guys,

I have an Esp Ltd SC-607B, which is a very comfortable guitar, but I want something with a shorter scale. You guys probably know this way better than me:

I have recently played an Ibanez RG7620, which had a very comfortable neck. Does the RG1527 have a same neck carve? I absolutely don't like the flat thin necks that the RG7321/RG7320 has.

Also: quality wise, RG1527 or RG7620?

1527 is just a newer version of the 7620. Neck profiles vary but are generally in the same ball park.

7620's have the lo-pros, 1527's have the edge pros.

I am not a trem user and will probably block it. What would you recommend? And in terms of what?

In terms on neck profile, you'd like a 2008 and up RG1527 the most. The neck is still thin, but a lot rounder on the back. Much more comfortable in my opinion.

I have owned both an RG1527 and an RG7620 at the same time. I'd take the RG1527 hands down. The only downside is that the Edge Pro is a LOT harder to set up than the Lo-Pro Edge. I have no idea why. But it was every bit as smooth and stable once it WAS set up.

Oh, well if you're going to block it anyway, then definitely get the RG1527. No questions asked.
