For £150 ish including the postage, it's not bad! I'd certainly buy one to mess around with, and then give it to my brother when I want to play my 7vwh. To someone who's interested in getting into 7 Strings, and afraid to take the plunge into a Universe, it's probably the least costly to buy if you decide 7 strings isn't right for you.

It'll never be a real Ibanez, but it will make you want to buy a real one, and that can't be a bad thing.

You're kidding, right? That Ibanez is horrible! No locking trem, scratchplate destroyed from abuse, circular eye clips for strap mountings? I get shivers looking at it. I'd go with the new Chinese 7 String, swap out the pickups, and you'd have a decent guitar. The body's made from maple, so it can't be too bad. It'd certainly be a good budget guitar.

Is it though? I was in Thailand, and there's no copyright laws there of a strong enough nature. These things are probably being copied by the dozen in an area where copyright laws just aren't in place.

Or more realistically, in an economy so starved that there isn't the man power to do anything about it.

I'd still have one, just to mess around with!
