HOTROD 7 STRING WORLD FIRST PAINT JOB??

Hey all, here is one of the new swirl ideas that I had, I finally got it on a guitar!! Hurray! Its not cleared yet. I dont think anything like this has been done before? I did these and variations like it about 1 and a half years ago, but hadnt got it quite right, I had Yngwie sign a canvass with this color combo on in june at PMT and he seemed to love it? I have one for Billy sheehan to sign this month too, im gonna try to do a swirl that has the colors of the artist guitar and have them sign it to put in a collect for myself, pretty sad hu?





I have sereral more new ones coming soon, similar themes and a few totally diffrent, one is taking forever!

Anyway I hope you guy like it. HAGO

I have to say.....my honest opinion is that i'm not a great fan of swirls. But since finding jemsite and looking at everyones swirlies i have had one thought that i would have if i ever had a custom swirl done and that is to have a lot of black still to contrast against. Low and behold you have secretly read my mind!!!!

My own personal choice though would be for the prominent swirl colour to a vibrant orange with a small amount of reds and yellows to balance.

But yeah, i'm loving that one posted Great stuff

That is actually really really REALLY cool. I'm fading away from thick paint-coats for oil, but this one could really bring me back in.

I don't usually like swirl , but that one is luverly, good choice of colours and tastefully done

It's too bad Yngwie doesn't get a strat swirled like this. I think it would look very cool with a scalloped maple neck
