I think they are Vampire Kiss? The reddish maroon colour.

One of them was incorrectly identified as a 7420 on the tag. They said it was used, but it had hardly any wear! This was at Long and Mcquade (bloor location), lol I didn't say anything, played it for 5 mins then bought it.
Second purchase was it Musicplex in Missisauga, midnight madness sale. Their was an ad on Q107. I saw the tag and paid for it right away, didn't bother trying it out LOL.

Man, sweet deals! Vampire Kiss is a really nice colour... they'd look even better if Ibanez put matching headstocks and coloured dots on the neck. That would be sharp!

Yeah man, the Vampire kiss one would look very sweet like that and a black Ibanez logo on the headstock.

Both of these mods can be done rather easily, and by people who frequent this message board.

That's kind of what I'm thinking of doing with mine....Vampire Kiss RG7620 with a matching headstock...
The other alternative would be to have a handle cut into it, have it resprayed black, have the neck fitted with vine inlays in abalone and put a clear pickguard put on...kind of a tribute to the JemPBKs except without the pyramids, middle pickup and clear pickguard.
I dunno though....I need to do something to this guitar if I keep it around...

Yeah, the vK may be my favorite 7620 color... Elegant enough that it can cut it at a jazz gig if need be, but you can still bust out your Korn and Dream Theater riffs without looking pretentious. I wasn't so big on the black hardware at first, but after owning some of that, um, "black chrome" or something... the smoked chrome, drawing a blank on the name... anyway, that stuff pimples like crazy, but the black is flawless. there's soemthing to be said for that. course, i still think straight-up, unfinished (or maybe clearcoated) brushed aluminum would rock...

I'm not sure yet, going to keep them stock for now. I do have an idea of what I might do to one of them: EMG's,
toggle switch
a la JPM model and a new finish (not sure of the colour). Just need to save some money for now. Im really happy with the way they are now.
