I got bored at work and...

...came up with this using photoshop...(tho Im not the greatest PS artist in the world....)

Basically its a RG1527 with a 77gmc finish I am in the process of creating a custom neckinlay using Illustrator and If I like the final results i may have mine customized like this. I prefer maple fretboards so I want something clean and neat..(and somewhat original) any ideas on something different?

I had a monkey grip on it but I thought that was a bit over the top......

OH this is my first post here Ive been playing Ibanez guitars since 87(love my old rg550)

This is very similar to what I was getting quotes for all over the place recently.
My idea was to cross a UV with a GMC :
Basswood body H S H routed, Grip, lions routing
GMC finish
Green vine (possibly the tripe viney thing from some J customs)
Lo Pro, blaze pups, jemstyle pup switching.

Nice to hear that other people have similar tastes.

I've also had qoute's and lengthy conversations about a UV777GMC ... With custom inlayed neck,But i've got a new idea,And thats a UV7PWH pyramid neck inlays white body and pickups and scratchplate ... Doh ! thats a production model ;-)

Once i'vr got my neck bought i shall get EKG to do the body and scratchplate,So hopefully it'll be done by "next" xmas

Keep your peepers peeled,I've defiantely got the Pyramid bug :-)

Just so you know...this has already been done in real life and it's shweeeeet!

Unfortunately, I think I only have a pic of the back of it. A forumite used to own it - (Kentk?).

It was most certainly a UV-GMC and my memory is of Kent selling it on ebay. I don't know who bought it, but i'm pretty sure it was Kent who had it done.
