As for the BC, Tone wise I place it between a Blaze and a
Tone Zone. It has slightly less harmoics up and down the fretboard and is very mid heavy. Good for lead from the bridge, sound nice split, not so tight on rhythm, but the Low B definition is good. Nicer cleans that blaze, sounds more natural in that respect.
Drives a
tube amp pretty hard, naturally, I have mine set up quite close to the strings, and with the gain turned town on the amp the sound tightens up somewhat.
All in all, the pickup can do dirty like the tonezone, but can get quite controlled and sensible too, It really responds to your touch. Quite warm, not so bright.
