I was wondering if I can create my own custom model....

Hi, My name is Mike here. I am new here and this is my first post.

I am a JP fan. I was wondering If I was able to ask Ibanez create for me exactly the same model(including the same pickups, headstock, lo-pro edge7, neck, wiring e.t.c.) that JP had? The JPM7 "cow" model.

Thank you

Welcome to our little community!!!

The short answer is NO, Ibanez will not make a custom guitar for the general public.

Your best option would be to purchase a used RG7620 and have it modified. This would likely be your cheapest option as well. Click on the LGM banner above and inquire with Jeremy. Not sure if he can do that paint job for you or not, but he can definitely hook you up with the neck work, the body mods and the wiring scheme.

Rich at Ibanez Rules (also see banner above) has one of JP's personal sevens in his collection. It's not the white one, and unless you offered him a fortune for it I'd doubt he'd part with it, but that's his business.

Not for 2 years now, but, it was a fortune.

I've got his Desert Camo piezo 6 now

Cool, didn't know you had sold it...

Is the Desert Camo one the one they had at Guitar Hangar?

Damn. They guy that owns the "cow" bought it from JP $13000 then he sold it to a guy from Kansas who also owns the "blue burst" ibanez model made for JP. The guy that sold it owns the "Swiss Camo". Anyway, I will have to try my luck at the simple JPM100 models. Thanx anyway.

By the way, Rich this is Mike(limpmike@hotmail.com)

Jeremy is VERY good at converting as Gresh mentioned. Check out Francesco's guitar on LGM's site. The "was and is" is amazing!

Steve is who I traded with, and I brokered Charles' DNA to partially fund the Cow sale

You should change that email address to hardasarockandbigasahorsemike@hotmail.com

I happen to know LGM Guitars can put that graphic on a 7620 without issue
