Ibanez 7 strings 2008

Did Ibanez release any more 7s this year or upgrade the Rg1527 at least?

It has been so long since they had a series of 7 strings in production

Is the best way for getting a 7 string to look for second hand models?

I think only new one this year was the Xiphos 7, but they still have the RG7321, RG1527, Universe, APex and S7320. Finding a used one on **** is never a bad idea, but if you want it brand new Ibanez still has the ones I listed.

Re: Ibanez 7 strings 2008

Last year they released the Apex1 and Apex2 and the S7320. This year they added the Xiphos 7. Offcourse they also already offered the Universe and the RG1527 and RG7321.

So they have seven different 7's. It's a lot better than three years ago. I believe they only had three back then (but I could be wrong)

im really tempted by a 1527 at the moment. i played a 7321 yesterday but didnt like the neck at all. i also need a trem, the 7320 seems tempting but i use the 24 frets. hmmmmmmmmmm. decisions, decisions.

It is an awesome guitar I own one but the pickups suck for me anyway

I was going to have EMGs put in it but you have to route out the body and such

But SD blackout 7s might be my solution but havent heard enough people using them to know what they sound like

I might look for a used 7620 but I have seen some very cheap but with bad chips and whatnot done to them

@Wildchild- If you go over to sevenstring.org and search for Blackouts you'll find tons of people who were hard core emg users and who have switched to blackouts.

Also, blackouts look cool. I'm a passive guy myself though.
