Niether am I....they (Ibanez) haven't been doing so great on the 6 strings lately, I'd hate to imagine 8 Strings.

Though I'm happy some guys got what they wanted.

I'm definitely going to buy one. But...Tak Hoshono has been talking about this on this very site for a while now (and confirmed this guitar October 8th) He added this yesterday:

I was a bit excited about the prospect of this whole RG8 thing.

Tak confirmed it'll be EMG equiped with fixed bridge and the photo on the Ibanez site shows it got dot markers.

Now I'm definatly not interested

I bet it's frikkin black as well

Yeah, another black guitar, who would have guessed! I'm hoping it will come in at least 1 other colors but if not, it's going to go to SCS or Legacy to have that fixed Maybe pyramids and a swirl

wonder if we'll see an 8 with a flame top. or cool inlays? J custom maybe. and probably 3000 or more dollars, if it even ever comes out. most likely will only ever comes out in black

i would get one if its under 2000 at most
the neck would look so huge though, even 7's look too big for some people
im like 6'2" thought so thats good
