Ibanez Custom 7

I've found this custom 7 string Ibanez with LoPro7 and EMG 707's. It's supposed to have been built at the LA custom shop, and I'm debating whether I should buy it or not. As you can see on the picture the guitar is in excellent condition.
Anyone have any info on the guitar? What's a good price?

These are LA Custom Shop designed. I believe that they may have actually been built in Japan (the serial number would say for sure). I do know that they were made for the Japanese market, so if there is one available near you, I'd consider it if for nothing else the novelty that noone else has one.

There were several models available in this series including two 6 string RG guitars,and an AX 6 string with a Lo-Pro Edge. I don't remember if there was an S body guitar or not.

As far as pricing, I'd consider used pricing the same as a current model used UV.

FYI, the model is a RG7CSD1 - here's a link to the specs from right here on jemsite. I remembered looking at it a while ago.

Thanks for the link! I've pretty much decided to get this guitar. I had my eye on the RG8527DBK but it would cost me quite a lot more with the shipping and all from Japan.
And if I don't like it I will let you guys know.

Having played a similar LACSD [6string; 27"scale; seymour_d equipped], I can attest that they are Made in Japan. Very nice guitar, a lot cheaper than my Jem90HAM.
