Pretty cool, Fraspe.
But i don't like that volume/tone scheme "ala LesPaul". Am I right?
1 volume and NO tone is the best for me! Anyway.
Great axe! THANXS...

I personally like the 2 vol. 2 tone setup as well, but heck, any new Ibanez 7-string is a good thing.

I'm used to the JEM/UV setup, with just one volume and one tone. But I kinda like this setup too

Nah, I bought it like last week

I have to say both guitars look astonishing. Fraspe, you are a lucky person. I wish there were more guitars, especially 7's coming out from the custom shop, because it seems to me they are pretty stuck on the same schemes a lot of times. But at least they are helping us 7-stringers out, every new, quality model helps.

If they release one more 7-string in VV, I'm going to destroy a section of my house.

I hear ya! I'd like to see a white one with gold hardware, that would rock!

I'd love some more trans colours, dark-ish ones, maybe with flame or quilt tops. Gold hardware a must of course. Maybe some metallica colours, or something.

There's always the RG8527DBK. It looks pretty sweet, but that too would look a lot better with gold hardware (like on the 9670).

As for 7-strings in the American market, I don't think I ever recall a model with green. Now I know not everybody is a fan of a green guitar, but my 7621 looked really cool under a blacklight that I happened to be playing under one night, and it came out as a dark forest green sort of color and I must say I was impressed with it's looks. And I think that would be a good move for Ibanez to make is color options. At least somewhere in the line. But you can't win 'em all...
