Ibanez RG 1527 top lock

Hi there, this is my first message, I've just entered the forum and I am truly amazed with all this cool information.
Well my problem is I bought a new RG 1527 but from the first day (yes, it's FIRST DAY!!!) the pressure pads for the 6 and 7th strings were like loose.
I, stupidy, tightened it more than I should and it got screwed up.
The thing is this part (I dunno its name, it's where the pressure pads are put, the part in direct contact with the strings and where the screw holes are) got somehow wider and it won't secure the strings... I solved the problem by putting another, thinner pressure pad so that the bottom part of the damaged part could hold it but it doesn't look that good.
please tell me how can I fix it or where to get Ibanez parts (I've looked in lots of places but it seems that pice is not sold)

THANX IN ADVANCE

By the way, how can I put a picture in my message? (to show you what part)

I'm guessing you mean you stripped the nut base [or it was already stripped when you bought it, which isn't that uncommon]. You're under warranty dude, the fix is as close as your dealer/distributor.

Thanx, the main problem is that I live in Ecuador and they do not support foreign countries, yes, it came wrong from the factory so I could claim my warranty but looking for the piece suits my case best because I coul fix it without sending my guitar overseas.
Any suggestions??? please

Considerring list price on the nut is $115 I'd send just the nut in and have it replaced. No reason they should require you to send the whole guitar back [but then again, they might].
