Ibanez Universe VS EBMM JPM7

I'm really thinking of trading in my GMC for one of those because I need a 7 string... So, which one is, in your opinion, the best? What are the pros and cons of each one... What is one able to do that the other isn't?

Thanks in advance,

Filipe

And by the way... Is my GMC worth more than an EBMM JPM7? Is it a bad deal?

Like I told you by email [to which no reply], it all depends on how good, or bad, the GMC is, and what condition it's in.

Re: Ibanez Universe VS EBMM JPM7

The guitar is in great shape... have you checked out the pics? What do you think of the swirl?

Hmmm, there are a few dings on the body (lower "horn" and next to the cover of the springs) and headstock... The trem seems to be in good condition and not much wear (stays in tune very well). No cracks whatsoever! The frets don't have much wear. The pickguard isn't new as you would expect from a 14 year old guitar... Also, I think it has an Edge trem (no sure on this though). Doesn't have any visible scraches on the front and some minor in the back. It's got excelent playabily and feel! I really love the guitar!

If you want detailed picks of some parts just let me know...

The EBMM JPM7 I want is a Blue Dawn one with piezo, JP inlays and matching headstock.

I really don't know if this is too much... Am I being naiive?

Nothing attached. You'd definately need more pics of the Jem.

Where are you?

there's no problem, I have a cybershot, so you just tell me what pics you want, how many of 'em you want, etc....

I'm in the first country right across the atlantic: Portugal.

After considerring what you're looking to get, and shipping expenses, I seriously doubt this is going to work. Sorry.

Re: Ibanez Universe VS EBMM JPM7

Hmmm, is it that expensive to ship? I reconsidered the bit about the Trem though, maybe it's too much to ask for.

What do you think would be a good deal? (for both of us of course!)

I got a notice to download. I have no idea what an rar is. If it's not jpg. or bmp honestly, I'm not opening it. [or even trying, whatever you open an rar with]
