Ibanez UV777

Is there any difference between an ibanez UV777 and a UV777BK? It is the same guitar, just called a different name, right? I was looking to buy one on a web site and there was a UV777BK used for $100 less than a listed UV777 new, and the list price of the UV777BK was $300 more than the UV777. Is this just an error, or are they two different guitars? Please help, I am looking to buy one of these guitars very, very soon.

just something weird, UV777BK and UV777 are the same guitar, they are only making ONE UV anymore, they're all the same.

For future reference, the letters at the end of the model number signify the finish. In the case of the UV, it's only available in BK (black), hence UV777BK. Just like JEM7VWH; the V means vine inlay and WH means white.

For the record, you may also see it referred to as the UV777PBK, where the P is for pyramids. All designations refer to the same actual guitar model.

(The UV7BK actually IS a different model!)

Just to make things even easier to follow, a guitar simply refered to as a PBK isn't a Universe at all, but a Jem

Actually in some cases the black UV is refered to as UV777PBK and as stated is obviously distinct from a UV7BK (black or green versions) or a Jem7PBK

True, what I meant was simply seing PBK without a number or Jem/UV descriptor implied a Jem, not a Universe.
