Ideas for my custom guitar... [56k take a hike!]

Around 1.15pm I hear the doorbell go, my dad's in so I amble down the stairs and I can see through my window the Parcelforce van is already starting to reverse out of my road. I'm presented with a box, which I waddle back upstairs with, and get out my camera (as I haven't had a picstory for a bit) and we'll get started!

Here is said box...

I have no scissors in my room, but my art box has a rusty old blade in, so I produce forth it's cutty cutty power...

30 secs later and we're in! (Lot of wrappy stuff!)

Someone has drawn an orcy thing, maybe Koss can provide an explanation *scratches head*

Attempts are made to unwrap the goodies:

After a minute of unfolding, yay!

And some more pics to finish off the set:

Finally, I have NO clue what to do with this looks-wise, so if any of you want to throw down some ideas as to what you think this should end up looking like, please let me know!!!

I've already got some of the black hardware and Not sure what to do with the rest though! Don't wanna copy Koss's custom guitar too much either though, lefty diversity ftw!

It looks tres cool Scott, you're not getting this one back!!! Anyways, ideas people - let your imaginations run wild for 7-string Jemness!

I have soooo many black guitars already (bane of left-handedness)

I was thinking of something to keep the wood showing, but not totally natural, so a stain and clearcoat finish possibly!

That's a lovely looking piece of wood (oo-er). How much did it cost you if you mind me asking?

I definately think you should leave it natural, it'd look brutal with the black hardware.

What else have you got planned for it?

Nice score, that's a nice looking body. I think you should stain it.

Re: Ideas for my custom guitar... [56k take a hike!]

is that the lefty 7 C. Woods body he had up on da bay?

well, since its AANJ your going to have to make a neck for it. I would do a reverse headstock. Vines don't look right on 7's so mabie pyramids or a nice blank ebony board.

the body isn't a 1 piece, so I think any natural finishes would look bad, unless you got a nice quilt/flame top for it. I would sent it to Fey to get painted. It would look nice with a cool swirl.

Why won't a standard Ibanez AANJ neck fit on it?
