That thing looks seriously awesome, though if I every had a chance to play it I would be too scared and worried about dropping it, lol.

Im sorry. There are some clips on my youtube-channel.

Clips with Fredrik will probably not happen in a few months. And if
it happens it will be on an other stone guitar.

Re: Insane guitar

Scale viewer for Guiar & bass (4,5,6,7,8 strings!!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys!

I felt a need for a good scale viewer but none were offering 7 and 8 strings view. Note & degree view, flip view, ...

So I made my own one! I had made it for my self and then all my friends ask to get it.

You want to try it too for FREE?

Just send an email to
-- JYSoft on live.com --
and I'll send it to you by email!

It is a super small Windows application for XP,Vista & 7.

276 Scales, 48 tunings (drop down, open, and more )

Can be used for guitar, bass, violin, cello, banjo & Mandoline!

You will love it! There is nothing else like that.

Regards,

Re: Insane guitar

Update.

Today I ordered the neck reinforcement from a metal working company in Järfälla.

This means that the project is on. I will post pictures on my photobucket-site just
like I did last time, but I fear that I wont have as much time to write here as I did
last time due to my involvement in too many projects at the time. But I will Write
as much as I can. I hope you guys don't think of me as largeheaded... If one of you
appriciate that I write here I am satisfied.

Spec.

Bridge: Kahler 2218 8 String/Steel Rollers
Pick-up: Lundgren M8
Tuning: Schaller?
Other hardware: Ibanez

Body: Swedish Brännhultsdiabas ( massive granite)

This album is empty right now, but for those who are interested: This is where to
look for updates

Re: Insane guitar

I thought that I'd share this privilege with you. This is the first guitar that
Ibanez built for Fredrik. I have it at home now so I can measure the neck.

Re: Insane guitar

Yes, your observation is correct. The four middle strings has thin metalstrips
under the saddles to heighten them. The two parts are not perfectly welded
together. The volume control is in a quite bad position and the panit job...
( what paintjob?) This is VERY obviously a prototype guitar to try out the
concept.

PS. Scalelength: 29,5"
