Is it possiable to buy Pickups from EBMM JPM7?

Is it true the pickups Petrucci uses in his 6 and 7 string are specially designed for him by Dimarzio? Or can you find those in shops also?
Thanx, I really want to get close to his tone, and christmas is comming...

nope impossible!
you'd be better off with a SS/blaze bridge and air norton neck and, the most important, a mark IIc+

I don't the pickups in my EB/MM JP7 sound anything like the pickups in my Ibanez JPM1.

They certainly have their own charachter. To my knowledge you cannot buy them nor will you be able to in the future.

The Air Norton/Steve's Special is probably pretty close, but I wouldn't say either sound close to a Blaze; I find (personally) the Blaze's to be pretty terrible.

yeah, the blaze i also do find pretty scary, loose and stuff... i dont know what its problem, my rig maybe lol!
