is this as good a deal as it sounds?

RG7620, used, pretty much pristine condition, grey pewter, for $209 + sales tax. from what i can tell, it looks like these usually go for at least $75 more than this.

If you don't buy it at that price, i'll fly down there myself and pick it up.

too late....i saw the price and jumped on it, put it on layaway. boston police require that the store hold it for 30 days after the day they get it in the store, just in case any reports of theft come in, so i've got it on layaway to wait until that 30 days ends, and to give me time to sell my other 7-string so i can afford it.

Yeah, that's a good price without a bag or case, without a trem arm, and with a few bruises. Nice Score!

Nice deal! I got a black 7620 uncased, no bar, no knobs, moderate body wear for a grand total of $200 and I was quite happy with that. $20 in extra parts and I had a gig bag laying around unused anyway!

boston police requires stores to hold used stuff for 30 days, just in case any theft reports come in, so my guitar's still under that hold and on layaway....

i was looking at their website last night tho, on the used gear list page, and noticed that my guitar was listed with "HD2" in the description, so i went by the store this morning and asked what that means....apparently it means my guitar comes with a hard case, altho in less-than-perfect condition.

but i'm still getting it for $225 (incl. sales tax and such), in near pristine condition with a case but no bar....

That's awesome! If only I had your luck And bars are pretty easy to find as far as I know if you want one

actually, i went back with cash and checked out the case out (and paid off the rest of the guitar while i was there)....the case is a piece of crap...just one of those tolex-covered wood TKL/Kramer cases with cheap latches....but when you open up the little storage compartment...there's the bar and wrenches!

so....i'm getting the guitar with a case, bar, and wrenches, for $225
