I've started a test drive program. Anyone interested?

I've set aside two guitars, one 6-string and one 7-string, for test drives. For interested players, it means the guitar can ship to you for a week or so for a hands-on trial. I've got the 7 string in upstate New York now. Anyone in the north east interested in giving it a go?

I'd love to, but i suspect getting it across the border (and back) might pose issues.

Um, I'd love to, but I'm not really in the market for a high-end semihollow 7 right now, so I don't really think it'd be worth shipping it to one more place (Providence, RI) for you... If that's not a holdup, though, and all you're looking for is player impressions, I'd gladly spend a week with it, getting a feel for the tone and feel, and would be more than willing to provide a few clips of it being used in a non-jazz context- some heavier riffing and single-note stuff. I'd be tracking on a laptop with a rather ininspiring mic and soundcard, but I could send you a few clips of what kinds of sounds my system can get, if you'd like to judge in advance... If you want, drop me a PM.

That's a pretty cool marketing idea, incidentally.

I'm not sure about the UK, but I'll probably be able to do Canada fairly soon. I go to BC to see my parents fairly often and we could just ship it too and from their place.

And Drew, check your e-mail. BTW, I offer it both without the F hole and in solid body as well.

It's around Woodstock and it should be ready to move on around mid week. Call me and we'll work out the details. I'll send you a PM with the number and a good call time.
