J. Craft HRG7 Custom

Thought you guys might appreciate a few pics of a IBZ Japanese 7. This is listed as a HGR7 in VLF finish made only for Ikebe (dealer). After they got my wire transfer I got it in three days-pretty fast. I've wanted a mahogany hardtail 7 for a while so I was thrilled to find it. It's a very dark finish. The headstock is painted black with the abolone logo. I guess the necks increased in width(1-2mm) since I bought my 7421 about five yrs ago. The five piece prestige neck feels great. In addition to the case they sent a nice IBZ gig bag. I threw a Dimarzio BC in the bridge-nothing in the neck yet, sounds great.

I like it! Make sure you post that over at www.sevenstring.org. If you don't mind me asking: how much?

Thanks. 'bout $850 for the guitar and $230 for various fees.

Looks very nice - I love the natural finish! Try to take some clearer pics if you get the chance.

Re: J. Craft HRG7 Custom

gorgeous 7. it looks like an rg7321 with a mahogany body. i wish i had one...i love mahogany. i had a custom mahogany body made for one of my 7620's that utterly rules. my mahogany 7 has an air norton7 and tone zone7 in it. the mahogany makes them sound HUGE. congratulations on the nice score.

Thanks, I've wondered what a TZ in this would sound like. I was also thinking about a JB, but the Dimarzio Blaze Custom was readily available so I put it in. So far it hasen't dissappointed.
Thanks IBZ shredder. Their both very nice and each has their own unique mojo.
