Harmony Central User Review

Click on that link for informed opinions on the guitar in question.

From what I know, I am pretty sure that they are made in Korea (to me that means little, but some swear nothing but crap comes out of there.) *I would recommend going for the DK2 or a DR2. *I believe they are made in Japan.

But for the price ($409) I would recommend buying an Ibanez RG, either new or used.

This all depends on what your money situation looks like, and whether or not your hell bent on getting a Jackson. *This is an Ibanez forum, so chances are, most people will recommend buying an Ibanez! *

If you're looking for an entry level guitar, while still having a pro quality - worthy of touring and recording - then you'll really like to go for the RG520, 550 or 570.

Mind you this is purely my own personal preference, but good advice nonetheless. *

I am sure you can find a good quality RG made in Korea too. *Once again, personal experience will dictate which you choose. *

The aformentioned RG models (5**) are all made in Japan. *An RG (current production models) with any other designation is made in Korea.

I strongly reccomend a used 5XX. The price differences between 4XX's and 5XX's on **** are only a few $$, and the 5XX is definatly worth the extra couple bucks.
