Well, IMHO, we here in the US are getting totally ripped off. I mean take a look around the Jap Ibanez site and the stuff, even in the mediocre RG range, beats the crap outta the stuff we have here. But specifically, the 1527 is a good 7-string, they have it over there too but it's in Galaxy black rather than Cosmo Blue. Still the same sparkles, just different color. But what we're talking about here is the J-Custom series. These are basically the pinnacle of Ibanez quality. I mean, ok, the 1527 has a basswood body, 3 piece neck,
rosewood board, and V-7's and 8's. It's a nice guitar. Check this out though, the J-Custom RG8527 has a flame maple and
mahogany body, same neck but the board is bound, and it has DiMarzio RG-7's. I would pay the extra amount just to have the mahogany, but it has a flame maple top and the fingerboard is bound too, and the pickups are DiMarzio made. Well, ok, maybe I can figure out how to put it's pic on here:
if you still can't see it, here's the URL to it:

it kicks the 1527's butt. I so want one!
