Jumped on the Ibanez bandwagon again ;)

Well, it came time to buy a good backup 7-string for my beloved ESP SC-607. I was looking at the new Schecter Damien 7, but I ended up spotting a new Ibanez RG7321. I played the sucker & of course, it played great. I made a deal with the sales guy & I got the guitar for $300 out the door! Schweet!

Shortly afterwards, I played it at band practice & it sounded even better. I was really amazed how good the stock pups sounded. I still think I wanna try out some Lundgren pups though. This will be my experimentation/modification guitar. Maybe I'll throw a Floyd Rose on there too.

Any mod idea suggestions?

I always thought the PU's sounded great on the RG7321, makes me regret selling mine. A cool mod, imho, would be a fixed piezo bridge.

Re: Jumped on the Ibanez bandwagon again ;)

So, I used the RG in last night's show & MY GOD, that guitar performed so well! It was effortless to play & had the TONE OF THE GODS...well, through my rig anyway! I've owned over 20 UVs & RG7s. After all of those I just got a bored with Ibanez for a while. I've been using my ESP 7 for the last year. However, I guess it goes to prove that "Once an Ibanez player, ALWAYS an Ibanez player." LOL

Be quick and trademark it and have Ibanez pay you for using it . Be sure to charge extra if they want it without the lol .

Sounds good. Be sure to introduce yourself! By the way, are you on the Seattle Metal Discussion Forum (SMO)?
