Just bought a used 7621

of (e)b(a)y for $200. The body is beat up from use, but I did a pretty good refinish on a beat up RG570:

So, I plan on doing it to this one. I figured it was worth id for the neck and pickups and just refinish the body.

If you could choose any color to refinish in, what would a good color be? I already have a yellow and a red Ibanez.

Congrats! I saw that on the bay. Really good price, even for the condition it's in. Should play and look great with some TLC and elbow grease.

Thanks, I looked at it the same way about ti should play great. You know, I might like to try and put a James Hetfield Truckster 4 layer paint job on this 7-string. It will be and interesting project to do a job like this:

Personally, I'd go with a natural finish. If colour is a must, I'd go with white with a faint, FAINT touch of purplish blue.

Yeah, that pic was the refinish job that I did on a 6-string. Since I liked how that came out I feel comfortable taking on this beat-up 7-string:
