K-7 vs A 1527 + Custom body
Hello everyone,
I couldnt decide beetwin those 2 options and
I keep changing my mind about it every day.
What would you go for? And from who should I
custom order a mahagny body with a top?
How is the mahagony body on the K-7? Will a custom
body completely blow it away?
Thanks,
Daniel.

I think it depends on the amount of $$$ you're willing to spend. Do you really want a mahogany body that bad? Have you played them? Which one fits you most?

I cant stand basswood bodies..
I played the
1527
but never playedthe K-7, I've
theyre similar in terms of feel.
I wouldnt like to spend much more than 1K overall.

Re: K-7 vs A 1527 + Custom body
As you put it, the only way is to go for a used K7 or a new APEX 2

The apex 2 is not an option to me.
Are there any guys here selling their K-7's?

Re: K-7 vs A 1527 + Custom body
I know that many here are going to kill me but... to me the K-7 doesn't worth the money. I have a friend with one and... I prefer my rg7620 with Blaze Custom. Sounds much better. Even my friend agree. I really doubt about the quality of that "mahogany" body.
The neck is quite nice but also thicker than mine. Nice guitar, but I would go for used 7620 hands down. Also better than the 1527.
