Kent Armstrong Pups?? - Anyone use/hear these??

Hey - a friend of mine pointed me to the WD Music products website where I found these Kent Armstrong Pups. *I'm particularly interested because they make a standard single coil pup and then a reverse wound/reverse polarity version. *I'm thinking of slapping one of each into my Frankenstein Carvin DC727 which I bought used through GC for $275 and to which I've already attached a Roland GK-2AH synth pup.

Anyone play any of these Kent Armstrong pups and can comment on the tone and perhaps compare them to any of the single coils on the market?? *

My favority single coil tone comes from my G&L Legacy so that's what I'm after - only in a 7 string version obviously.

Thanks in advance.

Randy

I have a few of the single sized humbuckers in a few strat type guitars (6 string)

Personally I think these pickups are great but they are trebly. I have two lying around that I keep meaning to put in my RG's middle position but can never seem to get around to it.
