Korn 7-string

Thats right, I keep thinking my '97 7620 is new cause I have only had it for two months. Maybe I should rest I have been up for the last 24 hours. But I'm not tired.

Rich you are SO right about the hero worship. *I really do not need another electric guitar but I am going to buy an EBMMJPM anyway just because I like JP. *Add me to the list baby!!!

By the way, can I get on your list now?

The EBMMJPM is the ONLY other model I'll ever deal in that isn't an Ibanez, and ONLY because I have such a strong contingent of JPM buyers. But it might be a little tacky posting them on IbanezRules so I might just setup a separate website for them. Still deciding

p.s. I quit using the lists when I put the website online. I always considered it spam, so it's basically retired axcept for 'emergency' use

K7 update - has a mahogany body and 5-piece maple neck w/ bubinga stripe. Ubar to palm the bridge sharp - the u-bar is by the fine tuners. Final production pieces forthcoming. Price not 100% firm but it is steep from the numbers I'm hearing, relative what i'd expect a "Korn model" to sell for... glen

Here is my opinion, I can't stand Korn, that doesn't really matter though, it's just my opinion. *But if the new K-7 was close to the same as the original UV (where Korn 7's started out) I would probably buy one. *I have a couple of RG 7's that I bought as working guitars but I don't really like the necks that much. *Even my 2000 UV777BK is not as nice as the old UV's IMHO. *If the K-7 had original Blaze II pickups or Blaze pickups, in H S H config. *and the original UV neck (thinner profile and smaller frets) and didn't cost a bazillion $$$$ like so many other signature guitars, I would buy one. *Here's why,
1) if it plays and sounds good, it's worth it.
2) Paint and inlays aren't that hard or expensive to change if you really don't like them.

Korn 7-string

This is all very exciting.....

While I'm not a fan of Korn, I have been contemplating adding a 7 string to my collection. With all the RG7620 players out there that will want to upgrade to a K-7, I see the market for used 7620s becoming flooded.

Yippeee for me.....
