Re: Korn's Pickups

Munky uses PAF7s. However I have seen his older UVs had blaze necks.

Re: Korn's Pickups

i thought they used the standard blaze pickups before, in the UVs, then went over to PAF 7s, and then had some customs made later with blaze necks?

although they pretty much only use PAF 7s...

Re: Korn's Pickups

naw, he only has the EMGs on his new 8 sting custom... i´ve seen them live, and can witness on his guitars having no EMGs in them... never seen any photos to show otherwise too, except for the ones of his 8 string...

Re: Korn's Pickups

in that case, he must have a custom with emgs in it... he doesen´t use emgs though, not live at least, maybe he uses it in the studio... but why would you use active pickups in a studio setting when you´ve got Dimarzio PAF 7´s? :P

Re: Korn's Pickups

He does have a custom 7 with EMG's in. A black one if I remember rightly. I remember it looking awesome as well. I must admit I have never seen a live picture of him with it, but that's not to say he doesn't use it live. I know he uses a wide variety of different customs live, so I don't see EMG's making that much of a difference to him tbh.
