Left Handed Model

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie to this forum.

Perhaps this question has been posted before - my apologies in advance.

Does Ibanez make left handed model of their 7 string model?

Thanks

Re: Left Handed Model

Nope they don't. They did make the RG7420 back in 2001 and I had a lefty RG1077XL which I bought off an endorsee but I sold it to fellow jemsiter .

Re: Left Handed Model

Thanks fettouhi !

Ibanez seems to have lesser left handed model compared to the other manufacturers - at least from my point of view.

Well, looks liek I need a custom job.

A custom job is better in the long run anyways.

Re: Left Handed Model

Carvin and Schecter are your best bets. Schecter would be cheaper of course and would retain resell value better.

Even when you no longer own the guitar, you still mention it.

Yes sir! Ibanez made one lefty production 7 string. The RG7420L

That's a pic of mine.
Then they made the already mentionned lefty RG1077XL which is also now mine.

A pic of it in its new home. Still need to clean the bugger.

Then of course, your other option is go custom. Carvin is good for that, but you don't have a floating bridge option, if that's important to you. So you can do what me and Fettouhi have done and get customs made.

My custom 7.

Don't need to go as fancy as me or Fettouhi, but it's a good road to go down.

I'm hoping the 1077 will make you not want to play your other ones...

Re: Left Handed Model

Well actually, Christopher Woods has the Bad Horsie copy, and a friend of mine in the states has the 7420. I bought the 7420 before the 1077xl, but my friend has yet to ship me the 7420, so I haven't even played it yet

To be honest though, I didn't even plan on buying the 1077xl when I bought the 7420, because Andre wasn't looking to sell it. I have been thinking lately of selling either the 7420 or both the 7420 and the bad horsie. I need to wait until I get them all back before figuring out what im doing.
