LO TRS 7 wiggle

I have an RG7420, which comes with the dreaded TRS trem. Unlike the six-string version, which has a screw-in collar on the bar itself, this has the regular Ibanez Edge bar identical to my other RGs, but the part the bar slots into has a big hex bolt thing. This prevents the bar from going in very deeply and it sits about a centimetre higher from the guitar body than it would with an Edge bridge, it wobbles a lot, and even when I tighten the screw/bolt thing it just loosens again as soon as I use the bar. I can't seem to remove screw/bolt thing.

So that brings me to the following two point-thingies:

* Do I have the right bar for my guitar, or did they just chuck a bar in from any old Ibanez laying around in the store, and that's why I'm having all this trouble?

* If I DO have the right bar, is there anything I can do? I'm starting to get very frustrated with this and if I hadn't grown attached to the guitar I'd probably trade it in for an RG1527.

I can't help too much I'm afraid, but I have the same bar on a Lo-TRS on my 6 string RG470. (And yes, it wobbles. I'm going to investigate today :-))
