LTD M-207 w/ DiMarzios?

Hello everybody...

I might buy me a LTD M-207. I recall playing one at a music store about 8 years ago, but I never actually plugged it in. Can't remember how it felt like too...

Anyway, there's a friend of mine who's selling his for €275 and loaded with DiMarzio Air Norton 7 on the neck and DiMarzio custom (EBMM JPM-7) pickups.
It also comes with hard shell case.
From what he's told me, it has some dings on the body and headstock. Don't have the photos yet.

I have 12 other guitars, ranging from a crappy plywood Vester to several high end Ibanez and Yamaha axes, but no 7-string yet.
My idea would be to buy this one and, in the future, buy an RG7620 or an RG1527 (and exchange the pickups with this LTD) and keep the M-207 as a backup.

I am currently playing Heavy/Modern Metal (in a band that "mixes" the sonic spectrums of Dream Theater, Pantera and Meshuggah).

So, what do you think? Is it worth the deal?

Thanks for the input...
