Pretty standard Ibanez stuff:

1) Bridge humbucker in series.
2) Inside coils
3) Both neck and bridge humbuckers
4) Neck humbucker in parallel
5) Neck humbucker in series

Also must note this is a very versatile arrangement when paired with good pickups (the stockers aren't bad.) I have the TZ7 and the AN7 (pretty common for the 2027.) I find I can get a good tone for most any type of music I play.
1. Jazz - Neck series or parallel. Pos. 5 and 4 respectively. Sounds good.
2. Blues - Neck series, parallel and inside coils. Pos. 5, 4, and 2.
3. Rock - Neck parallel, inside coils, bridge. Pos. 4, 2, and 1. Great for crunch, lead, and clean passages.
4. Funk - Inside coils. Pos 2. Sparkly!
5. Metal - Neck series, bridge. Pos. 5 and 1. Great for searing leads, heavier-than-thou rhythms, and cutting dirty fills.
6. Pop- Neck parallel or inside coils. Pos. 4 and 2. Jangly, light, airy.
8. Nu-metal- Both humbuckers. Pos. 3. Scooped sounding, very articulate, but heavy.
7. Lead- Both neck and bridge series, or together. Smooth, super rich, creamy, everything ya like.

Just a sampling of some of my observations on the 2027's versatility. Haven't even't touched the piezo-acoustic yet!
