Mayones 7 string

Does anybody know anything about this polish manufacturer?
I first found out through the Pain Of Salvation website (Daniel was endorsed by Parker but switched to Mayones).
The 7 string looks good. Does anybody know how they play?

here's the website http://www.mayones.com/eng/katalog.h...egius-7&menu=0

7400PLN??? For Polish standards that's a ridiculous sum of money, for that price you can probably get something cool from just about any of the custom builders in this country....

Anyone else tried out Mayones? I got really interested when I found out that Daniel from Pain of Salvation was using them!

Re: Mayones 7 string

I can go try out "a" Mayones, but I don't think I have seen a Regius 7 around here. Well, haven't really looked to be honest.

1850 Euros is a boat load of money; it would need to be really, really special I think at that price.

Re: Mayones 7 string

Yup, but PRSs aren't made in Poland, and definately have a better "name" than Mayones does. I don't think that Mayones can charge these kind of prices yet, even if they make fine guitars.

I do like this one though:

And I guess that having the price comparable to the Ibanez Metheny model is acceptable..

Re: Mayones 7 string

Witkowski, who is the big-name builder in Poland would probably come out around 4000 PLN, which is about 1000 euros.

Re: Mayones 7 string

Hey
Yeah, I've been wanting to get the Setius GTM-7 for a while now and emailed the company and they quoted me 1299.00 euros which is about $1600-$1700 US. I Really like the way they look but have no idea how they play or sound either. I know Jonas from Katatonia uses Mayones and thats what got me interested in them. If anyone has any other info about them, lemme know !
