Meshuggah 8 string Ibanez

This is probably old news now, but here are a couple of pic of the Ibanez Custom Meshuggah 8 strings with what I believe is an 8 string Edge.

They look pretty awesome!

I've never seen that! In fact, maybe it's not old news... I can remember a few months back all of us debating whether or not there even was (or is) an Ibanez 8 string for Meshuggah. Great post!

The bridge looks like it's one of those Floyd/Fixed hybrids, only 8-string version.

Yeah its an EdgeFX bridge like on the JS2000. But that just looks absolutely sick! There are many people on here that would kill for one of those! I doubt they will be mass produced for a while yet, if ever. They look bloody awesome though......insane. They have to do 4-a-side tuners on the headstock too. But god how kool do they look, even if they do seem slightly out of proportion, lol.

Cool. As always, plain, bare guitars with black finishes. Just the way I like em.

However, I'll stick with my 6-string axes.

Nice... I've been dying to see pics of those things for ages. PRoduction's too much to hope for, but now we know the custom shop at least has the capabilities... Doesn't do most of us any good, but there's the chance one or two will be showing up on e-bay... I mean, we've had a custom shop Carpenter kicking around here for a while...

Sexy guitar, doubt Ibanez will be able to jusitfy a reason to put it into production, but the custom shop'll probably be able to help...

I wonder how one of those things plays, I saw some sexy home made RG stile 8 strings on here a while ago, and renemer thinking jesus, that's a wide neck.

Hopefull one day I may play one
