I actually like the bridge, simply because it's functional.

hey wound, where'd the pics come from - have you got high res versions? That bridge looks cool and the guitar looks dusty, scratched and corroded.

Hmm..... well, the guitar looks extremely nice, but that bridge is freaky... anyone noticed that it doesn't have a tremelo are holder? Crazy...

Kinda reminds me of the bridge on the
Mike Mushok
sig model. Which makes sense.

well, I'll play devils advocate here.
I don't like Messhugga or however it's spelt, and I don't care for the guitar either. I don't understand why you'd put that much money into a guitar, 8 string neck, body, pickups, and make a bridge that looks like a couple blocks of brass.
Functional or not, it doesnt' look comfortable in the least.

Yeah, the bridge is a little funky and painful looking. However, they couldn't keep the original 8-string with the regular
fixed bridge
to stay in tune. With this bridge they can at least use a
locking nut
and stay in tune. Too bad they can't get a 8-string lo-pro edge or something. Otherwise, those guitars are sweet looking!!

I think it looks pretty cool in a very industrial sort of way, although i'd think unless you round the edges a bit, i'd forsee it getting very bloody very quickly...

I love Meshuggah as much as the next guy, and think the 8 strings are pretty cool, but my hand is hurting just
looking
at that neck. Plus, as mentioned before, that bridge does look pretty prehistoric.
